COVER OPTIONS
Choose Your LOOP-LOC Cover
Three distinct cover systems to match every pool owner’s needs — from maximum drainage to superior light blocking.
Super Dense Mesh
Blocks virtually all sunlight and lets rain and melting snow drain through easily. The most popular choice for homeowners who want low maintenance and maximum safety.
Aqua-Xtreme™ Virtually Solid Mesh
The ultimate light-blocking mesh fabric. Open your pool in spring looking almost as clean as the day you closed it — with lightning-quick drainage still intact.
Ultra-Loc III® Solid Cover
The best of both worlds — the lightweight feel of mesh combined with complete light-blocking properties of a solid cover. Revolutionary design, uncompromised safety.
The LOOP-LOC Anchor System
What makes a LOOP-LOC truly different from a standard winter cover is the anchoring system. Anchors are the foundation of safety — they’re what keeps the cover locked when it matters most.
- Unique brass anchors recessed flush with your deck when cover is off
- Non-corrosive 302/304 grade stainless steel springs for superior weight-bearing
- Non-corrosive aluminum tips — double-notched for stability
- Double-perimeter webbing and double-thick straps for maximum break strength
- Cover stays taut, tight, and beautiful season after season

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about LOOP-LOC safety covers, installation, and repairs.
What's the difference between a safety cover and a regular winter cover?
Regular covers are vinyl tarps that sit on the water — they don’t prevent pool access. LOOP-LOC safety covers are anchored to your deck with springs, exceed ASTM safety standards, and can support significant weight, preventing children and pets from accessing the pool.
How are the anchors installed? Will they damage my deck?
Brass anchors are drilled into your deck at precise locations. When the cover is removed, they recess completely flush with the deck surface — you won’t see or feel them. They’re designed to last the lifetime of the cover.
Can you repair my existing LOOP-LOC cover instead of replacing it?
Absolutely. We repair straps, replace springs, reset anchors, and patch fabric. If your cover is structurally sound, a repair is often a fraction of replacement cost and extends the cover’s life by years.
What cover type is best for preventing algae growth?
The Aqua-Xtreme Virtually Solid Mesh offers the most effective algae prevention — near-total light blocking with fast drainage. Pool owners consistently report much cleaner water at spring opening compared to standard mesh covers.
Does a LOOP-LOC cover fit non-rectangular pools?
Yes. Every LOOP-LOC cover is custom-made using Computer Aided Design (CAD) to fit any pool shape — L-shaped, kidney, freeform, Roman, or any custom design. If your pool has a shape, LOOP-LOC has a cover for it.
What is the warranty on a LOOP-LOC cover?
Do I need to replace my cover anchors (grommets) when replacing my Loop-Loc safety cover?
In most cases, no. If you’re replacing an existing Loop-Loc safety cover with a new Loop-Loc cover, your existing anchors and hardware can typically be reused and do not need to be replaced.
However, if you’re switching from a different brand such as GLI, Meyco, Merlin, or another manufacturer, the anchor spacing and hardware may differ. In those cases, new anchors and hardware may be required to ensure the cover fits and functions properly.
If you’re unsure which brand cover you currently have, contact us with photos of your existing cover and hardware, and we’ll help determine what is needed.
