Phos-X Phosphate Remover

For removing phosphate from swimming pools, ponds, and lakes.

Directions for Routine Use

Shake well before using.

1. Start with chemically balanced water.
2. If algae is present, chlorine shock the pool.
1. If no algae is present, non-chlorine shock the pool.
2. In bioguanide pools, use dealer recommended shock treatment
3. Brush pool surface and vacuum to filter (leave pump running).
4. Have your pool dealer test for phosphate level.
5. Use chart below to determine correct dosage.
6. Pour proper amount of this product into skimmer.
7. Run filtration system for at least 24 hours. (Water should turn from cloudy to clear within that time, but can take up to a week to clear completely.)
8. Watch filter pressure and clean or backwash filter as necessary according to manufacturer’s directions.
9. Test for phosphate monthly.
10. Use this product to maintain level at or below 125 PPB.
